To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors and to protect plant collections, please follow the Botanical Garden’s etiquette and good manners guide:
- During the visit, use sidewalks and paths, and be careful not to block access for the other visitors. Walking on the grass, between plant layers or in places where species have been planted can affect plant growth and development.
- We care about the environment, so it is important to dispose of the trash properly, only in the available recycling bins. Do not litter in the perimeter of the Botanical Garden.
- Visitors are welcome to take photos and videos for personal use, but professional photoshoots must be announced and scheduled.
- Touch and smell the plants without harming them. Leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds that fall naturally on sidewalks or paths can be picked up so that they can be observed more closely, but collection for personal use is not allowed. The Botanical Garden needs for regeneration all these fallen plant materials.
- Consult plant labels, take photographs, or write down the information from the labels you want to retain, without removing or disturbing the position of the labels.
- Relax and enjoy the silence of the garden. You can sit and rest on the benches. Keep quiet by playing and listening to music on your devices using headphones.
- Families and children are welcome in the garden, but the Botanical Garden is not a typical park with children’s play areas. The supervision of children by adults is very important.
- Pets are not allowed in the Botanical Garden, as their health may be affected by some plant materials, and inadequate supervision of pets can lead to the destruction of crops, protected or rare plants, and restored habitats in the garden.
- Please keep your personal items with you at all times. The Garden cannot be held responsible for missing items. If you find an object that does not belong to you, please report it to the personal at the garden entrance.
- In the Botanical Garden, it is strictly forbidden to smoke and consume alcoholic beverages.
