In the Botanical Garden there are three greenhouses with an area of approximately 300 m2. Greenhouses are used to obtain the plant material necessary for the planting of some ornamental species in the outdoor spaces or for the wintering of non-native plants. In the greenhouses there is a diversity of species purchased from different areas of the world, which are provided with special conditions of temperature and humidity that facilitate their development and perpetuation. In the greenhouses you can find citrus species (lemons, oranges and grapefruit) that delight with the fragrance of the flowers or the richness and color of the fruits. On the shelves of the greenhouses there are plants with ornamental value, with flowers or leaves of different shapes and colors (Codiaeum variegatum, Euphorbia pulcherrima, Cyclamen persicum, Camellia japonica, Coleus blumei, Pericallis hybrida, chrysanthemums, etc.).
